Our family-owned and operated homemade ice cream shop, The Ice Creamsmith, is looking for a reliable, responsible, energetic, outgoing team leader to assist in managing the staff and operations of our single location. Must be a motivated self-starter interested in learning proven systems as well as bringing new ideas to the table.

- Oversee, supervise and work alongside part-time, seasonal staff of 12-20, including training and scheduling
- Ensure our unique product is delivered to our customers at its best quality and in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere
- Assist in managing inventory of product and supplies
- Support and grow social media efforts
- Support and grow the expansion of alternate revenue streams, including wholesale accounts and catering options, with opportunities for fostering creative new ideas
- Ensure the smooth operation of a fast-paced, high volume food-service establishment, including complying with all health code safety standards and regulations
- Completion of high school education
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the food service industry preferred
- ServSafe training a plus
- Must be able to commit to one full season (March-November) of employment and able to work a combination of days, nights and weekends
- Hours average 30-40 per week
- Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time, walking up and down stairs, lifting objects upwards of 25 pounds
- Option for salary or hourly wage starting between $18-24, commensurate with experience
